Events at Rice is one calendar to help you keep track of many universitywide events, and specific event calendars can give you more information on your many entertainment options.    

Arts

• Rice’s renowned Shepherd School of Music is home to several orchestras, chorales and opera and hosts a performance almost every day of the week.
• KTRU Rice Radio keeps listeners happy with a fun and funky mix.
• The Rice Cinema is a theater with a lot of personality and hosts its own eclectic spectrum of films.
• The Rice Players, Rice's theater group, brings high quality productions to campus every semester.
• An on-campus treasure, the Rice Gallery, hosts new art exhibits every month, and the Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts also holds exhibitions throughout the year.

Athletics

• Rice is home to the Owls, fielding 14 varsity teams and providing year-round entertainment at various on-campus sports venues.
